Conference COVID-19 Protocols

Last updated: April 5, 2022

We make the health and safety of participants in the spaces in which we convene a priority. As we navigate the next phase of the pandemic, we must do our best to create a culture of care. That means, we ask that our in-person attendees do their part to keep us all safe and healthy.

*Please follow CDC guidelines and DO NOT travel if you are not feeling well or if you may have been recently exposed to the coronavirus*

Proof of vaccination or testing at registration and on-site
To register for the in-person event, registrants must share whether they will submit a proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test when they arrive on site at the conference. All proofs must be shared at the registration table on-site at the conference.

Definitions. To qualify as fully vaccinated, registrants must be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations as defined by the CDC. If submitting a negative COVID test, the test must have been completed within 72 hours of the conference start date (on or after June 26, 2022).

Masks
Based on current CDC guidance, masks will be worn in all indoor spaces when not actively eating or drinking. We highly recommend N95 masks. When wearing masks, please make sure your mask fits securely and covers your nose and mouth completely. Attendees will be encouraged to keep masks on throughout the event venue space.

Social Distancing
All tables, seating, and registration desks/kiosks will be organized in a way to support social distancing as best as possible. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue.

Source of guidance on COVID-19 Protocols
The 2022 Midwest Asset Building Conference Planning Committee will continue to monitor ongoing developments in COVID-19 health and safety, as well as new variants of the virus. We will follow any and all local COVID-19 mandates if any are in place at the time of the conference (none currently), as well as follow protocols according to CDC Community Spread Guidance for Ramsey County. All conference policies on COVID-19 protocols are subject to change.
